Terms & Conditions
When you book an appointment with Johannes Maehrlein Osteopathy (‘us’), you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1) BOOKING CONFIRMATION
Bookings are automatically confirmed via email. It is your responsibility to make sure that your details and the time and date of your appointment are correct.
2) CREDIT CARD CAPTURE
Upon booking, your credit or debit card details will be securely captured. No one has access to your details and they can only be used to charge your card as agreed to by you and in line with this policy.
3) CANCELLATION POLICY
24 hours notice is required for appointment cancellations and / or amendments. If changes are made or appointments are cancelled outside of this period, 50% of the appointment fee falls due as cancellation fee at our discretion.
Before osteopathic treatment can commence, it may sometimes be required to refer to other health care providers for complementary examination and/ or investigation. An example of this could be a suspected underlying medical condition or the simple need for imaging such as X-rays or ultrasound to ensure treatment can commence safely. Just as when you visit your GP, this is counted as a regular consultation, regardless of whether hands-on treatment was performed. All efforts will be made to adequately explain this to you and to advise you of why we think this may be necessary.
All of your details are securely held on our patient record database and in line with Australian privacy and health records legislation. You can request a copy of your data for free at any time and an administrative fee applies if you wish to access your patient records.
